The following list is from EuroCrime - a nice blog on European Crime fiction, as well as TV and film:

Rounding the Mark - Andrea Camilleri

The Scent of the Night - Andrea Camilleri

The Serbian Dane - Leif Davidsen

The Princess of Burundi - Kjell Eriksson

Calling Out for You! - Karin Fossum

The Chinaman - Friedrich Glauser

The Exception - Christian Jungersen

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson (published 2008)

The Devil’s Star - Jo Nesbo

The Redbreast - Jo Nesbo

As the author states, this list is a tad Euro-centric (she mostly reads European books).

Still, it is an interesting list from a Scandinavian point of view - Davidsen, Eriksson, Fossum, Jungersen, Larsson, Nesbo and Nesbo again! And great recognition and PR for Karin Fossum and Jo Nesbo.
