Top Ten Crime Books of 2007

The following list is from EuroCrime – a nice blog on European Crime fiction, as well as TV and film:
Rounding the Mark – Andrea Camilleri The Scent of the Night – Andrea Camilleri The Serbian Dane – Leif Davidsen The Princess of Burundi – Kjell Eriksson Calling Out for You! – Karin Fossum The Chinaman – Friedrich Glauser The Exception – Christian Jungersen The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larsson (published 2008) The Devil’s Star – Jo Nesbo The Redbreast – Jo Nesbo
As the author states, this list is a tad Euro-centric (she mostly reads European books).
Still, it is an interesting list from a Scandinavian point of view – Leif Davidsen, Kjell Eriksson, Karin Fossum, Christian Jungersen, Stig Larsson, Jo Nesbo and Jo Nesbo again! And great recognition and PR for Karin Fossum and Jo Nesbo. A little disappointing the Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is not in the top spot, perhaps? (My favorite among these books!)
